“Coffee Shop Girls” and Hawaiian Desserts
I feel the need to feed! I miss the fun of making Hawaiian Dessert. It’s been more than a few weeks. And I miss the fun of “wowing” the “Coffee Shop Girls”, with my Hawaiian desserts. I miss the fun of doing both. “The need to feed” those fun and funny girls!
Here’s my dilemma, I don’t know what kind of Hawaiian/Japanese dessert to make. One of the girls really likes chocolate, but chocolate doesn’t excite me, not that I wouldn’t make a chocolate dessert. And one of the other girls is Japanese but doesn’t like Mochi, go figure! So anything with Mochi is out.
And one of the girls is conscious about her figure, she just got married, so s a concession to her I was thinking which-ever Hawaiian/Japanese dessert I make, I will make it in a mini forms.
So I am on a search for a Hawaiian/Japanese dessert recipe that may or may not cantain chocolate, not based on Mochi and that I can make in mini size.
Come on people, help me out, don’t be shy, I need some fun! I have been searching high and low and still haven’t found dessert recipe that looks fun to try. So I am shouting out to everyone! I want and need your suggestions!
But understand that I am not a skilled baker or a patisserie. My baking supplies are limited to a few 4”x9” baking pans, two small cupcake pans and one large cupcake pan, one electric hand mixer, one small table top oven. I know, it’s a huge limitation, especially on top of having excluded any Mochi recipe, but the one thing I have going is a desire, A desire to wow those “Coffee Shop Girls” with a delicious Hawaiian/Japanese dessert recipe.
So what’s your favorite Hawaiian/Japanese Dessert Recipe? I beg you, as decent human beings! Throw any suggestions my way! The free Baguette that’s every once in a while thrown in with my coffee is in the balance! I don’t want to lose it!
Oh yeah, these are dessert recipe that I am leaning towards is Kasutera, a Japanese Sponge Cake, Dorayaki, Japanese pancake filled with a sweet bean paste, or Guave cake Fortune Cookies with my sense of humor fortunes. Little bit naughty, little bit flirty and maybe funny pick-up line, to make the girls laugh or at least giggle.

Have you considered something simple, like a layered fruit dessert with some whipped cream? If you put it in a trifle bowl, it would combine low calorie and taste and look beautiful.
Think something like that would catch the eyes of the “Coffee Shop Girls”? But you know something like a dessert recipe with chocolate and kona coffee peak my interest!
