Hawaiian Food and Recipe

My best days start out with a laugh, a surprise, something so unexpected and positive. I love those days!

If it involves one of my Hawaiian Dessert Recipes, it’s that much better!

For example, I’ll bump into someone in a store, restaurant, somewhere and they’ll rave how much they like one of my Hawaiian Food Recipes. “It’s one of the best I ever tasted” is always a thrill to hear by someone with such humble beginnings, like me. 

I challenge you, “Find a better way to start a day than that!”

 Yesterday was one of those days. Just like most days I walked into the Coffee Shop for my morning cup of joe.  As soon as I stepped foot inside I was hearing yelling. Before I realized who was yelling, before I had a chance to even hear the words, before I understood who all the yelling was directed at, all heads were looking my way.

 I almost turned around, to look behind me, to see what everyone was looking at, almost. Right then comprehension started to sink in. It was one of the “Coffee Shop Girls” yelling, over the heads of everyone else in line waiting to order their morning coffee at me!

 “That Hawaiian Guava Cake was so good!  I loved it!  Can I order 10 more?!”

 That was the jest of what she was yelling. I don’t really remember exactly what else she yelled. I guess I wasn’t totally up yet, caught by surprise too much, I was a bit dumbfounded.

 But I had to laugh!  All I could do as all eyes were focused on me was shrug, smile at everyone, and yell back

“I am glad you really liked it”. And take my place in line.

I really was glad she liked my “Hawaiian Dessert Recipe”.
