Hawaiian Food and Recipe

BOUYED, feeling confidence, the funniest comment from my taste testing group of friends was,

” Thumbs up?!  I give it all ten fingers up!”

I felt prepared, ready, to email this recipe off to the girl who started this Hawaiian Food Recipe Challenge.

Could I at least match the taste and flavors that she was used to, I have no idea. Can I satisfy or even wow her with my recipe. Well it is time to find out!

“It is good, very good”.

When this challenge started, in my head it was between her and I, she sharing it with anyone else wasn’t even a thought of mine, I wasn’t thinking that far ahead. So when she shared it with her co-workers, well I surprised me.

“Two Phillipino co-worker girls, tasted it. They liked it and said, ‘it tastes like the real thing.’  The office Manager even asked for the recipe. So did another lady, who came just happened into the office. She said ‘I knew it was good just by the smell and what it looks like’”.
How do I feel about all this? What is my thoughts?  Well I am absolutely amazed! Thrilled! She actually really liked the recipe.

On top of this, strangers are impressed with my recipe and enjoying it. My recipe is traveling through the islands of Hawaii! How cool is that!  People are asking for MY Hawaiian Food Recipe!

I am flabbergasted, sure it may not seem like a big deal, after all I have wowed my friends, but wowing complete strangers, well that is a different realm, isn’t it?
